Chronix Overview
Chronix is a trading operating system for crypto desks. It brings live trading, exchange connectivity, risk controls, account state, historical data, telemetry, and strategy workflows into one governed runtime.

Product Surfaces
Section titled “Product Surfaces”Chronix is organized around a small set of product surfaces that share the same runtime model:
- clickGUI Runtime Integration: live trading terminal, operator workflows, workspace composition, and AI-assisted desk tooling.
- Live Trading Backend: market data, OMS, execution, account state, strategy runtime, and risk checks.
- Risk, Exposure and Protection: account groups, live exposure, limits, validation hooks, rate limits, alerts, and pre/post-trade controls.
- Market Data, Symbology and Lifecycle: normalized feeds, instrument registry, venue mappings, lifecycle tracking, retained data, and replay.
- Backtest and Historical Ecosystem: replay, simulation, historical data, scalable compute, and validation loops.
- Monitoring, Telemetry, Grafana and Alerts: dashboards, alerts, connector health, latency, operational analytics, and business metrics.
Operating Model
Section titled “Operating Model”Chronix can start around one concrete client workflow and expand into more venues, strategies, monitoring, backtesting, and managed operations.
The documentation is split into component pages so each part of the system can be maintained independently as the product changes.
